Sterling was conducting a Q&A with fans on Instagram on Monday night, where he answered on a range of topics including advice for footballers trying to make it and whether he would rather fight one horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses.
The England international was asked who would make up his all-time front three from the Premier League and pretty quickly decided that Arsenal great Thierry Henry would be on the left of the attack with former Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo on the right.
The central striker was more of a dilemma though, with Sterling unable to choose between Aguero and former Arsenal and United forward Robin van Persie.
With the help of Pep Guardiola and Mikel Arteta, Sterling has himself turned into one of the deadliest forwards in the league and has hit double figures for the past three seasons.
The 25-year-old was asked for his favourite goal and decided to pick a strike from November 2017 when City took on Southampton. Oriel Romeu looked to have frustrated the hosts with a 75th-minute equaliser but Sterling curled home a wonderful 96th-minute winner to spark pandemonium at the Etihad to give City a club-record 12th successive win and keep them on course to set a league record of 18 wins on their way to the title.
“Probably Southampton not last season the season before,” said Sterling. “It was a massive part of the season to keep the momentum going.”
